These tabs make that nasty exhaust smell a lot better. Try not to touch them with your hands maybe use a sandwich bag as a protective glove or you will wash your hands the rest of the day. DT Silver Spring Md.

These are great. They get rid of pet odors from the vacuum bag. I wouldn't vacuum without them!!

The smell was nice and lasts a long time. Not too overpowering when you are vacuuming.

Before I bought these, I wasn't sure what they would smell like. I couldn't find a scent anywhere on the product description. Well, the scent is very very strong but only for a short time. It's a combination pine-y/soapy smell. When I first used it, I thought I would have to open the windows to air the house out, which would have been bad since it was 20 degrees outside. But then I noticed that the smell goes away very quickly. So,the tablets work fine since I wasn't looking for something to leave a lingering smell in the house. However, I'm not sure I'll buy these again. Might try something else instead.

Our large vacuum cleaner bags for the Hoover last many months, but I have to change the bag before it's full because of the eventual foul smell of accumulated dust and grime. I thought I'd try these tablets to see if they'd help.
Twelve tablets, each an inch in diameter, are in the package. The user may put a whole tab in the vacuum bag or crush the tablet into pieces first and then vacuum it into the bag. Breaking the tablet up is easy, but it releases a very strong aroma initially; thus I prefer to place the whole tablet in the bag.

The scent emanating from the bag during vacuuming is subtle and pleasant, at least after the strong aroma of the initial vacuuming. According to Oreck these tablets are non-toxic to humans and pets. I am not going to test that statement, but will accept it on faith.

My meile canister vacuum was smelling like wet dog, and spreading that lovely scent throughout the house. One of these tabs in the vacuum bag and the smell is gone. The replacement scent (lemon) is pleasant, it's not aroma therapy, but it's nice. I would recommend this product to anyone who is trying to combat pet odor, but not for the scent alone.

Not much to add except that the product depicted was what shipped, seems to work well, and arrived very quickly. Good product and worth buying again...

I use these in my bags and they really help with oder. Nice to just order off line and delivered to home.

I've owned a large dog for the past 20 years. Invariably pet oder gets into the vacume bag and makes the room smell worse than it did before vacuming. These tablets actually overwhelm and seem to neutralize the dog hair oder. BTW, they work in any vacume cleaner, not just Orek!
