I bought these bags because the information stated that they were "original Oreck bags, not generic like the others". Well guess what? They are not genuine Oreck bags. The bags came in a package that did not have the Oreck logo on it and it stated that the bags fit the Oreck Type CC. The package says "Envirocare Technologies which is not part of the Oreck Corp. The picture of the product I thought I was buying showed an Oreck package. Also, everyone who owns an Oreck knows that the bags are green and not white. I was stupid enough to buy two packages so I am stuck with them. It just isn't worth the hassle of returning them and paying the postage. I can't believe they can get away with such lie because in reality what I bought were generic bags and not original.

BUYER BEWARE!

I paid extra for the Oreck brand vacuum bags. That's all I wanted... just an Oreck brand pack of 8 vacuum bags. But what did I receive in the mail? The generic vacuum bags, which are also available from other sellers for cheaper than what I paid. This seller is unscrupulous! The literal description of my item, as listed on Amazon.com, was "Oreck Genuine Hypo-Allergenic Celoc Filter Bags Huge Package of 8 These Are Original Oreck Bags, Not Generic Like the Others." LIAR!

You might as well buy the product below because that's what you're going to get anyway. And it's cheaper because they actually admit it's generic brand and don't claim to be selling you Oreck brand:

If I could give this ZERO stars, I would, because I didn't even receive the product I paid for!

The bags that were sent by this vendor were generic bags and not the Oreck branded bags that I thought I was purchasing. I will not comment on their quality or performance. I will probably keep them simply due to the hassle of trying to return them and get the correct product. It is likely that the vendor who sent them is counting on that very response. This is the first time I have been disappointed by anything purchased through Amazon.

What i received was not the image show on the product. The product shows ORECK name on it. The one I got was a generic Envirocare brand designed to fit "Oreck type CC". I will post an image of the product I received later.

So far as I can tell, there are multiple vendors all linked to this same "product", sharing a common set of reviews.

Therefore, there is no way for a customer to figure out which of these sellers is actually cheating customers, and which is sending the real deal.

Even if you pick a particular vendor, and put the product in your cart, when you click on the product in the cart, you come back to this generic product description, listing a DIFFERENT seller. For example, during my 10 minutes of playing around, sometimes this was listed under "killdirt", and other times under "MoreQualityLessMoney". Also, the picture associated with the ad keeps changing.

So I guess it's just a crap shoot what you will actually get here. Amazon needs to crack down on this, in order to keep satisfied customers.

I love these vaccum bags. I suffer from alergies and the 3 layer hypo-allergenic bags are wonderful. They keep the dust inside even when you take the bags out for replacement. The bags have a seal mechanism that seals the bag when you remove it from the vaccum cleaner. They are easy to replace.

Some reviews have stated that they received off-brand bags when ordering this item. That was not my experience.

The merchant I was given was EASTVAC (Fulfilled by Amazon.com) and the bags I received where genuine, Oreck brand, Hypo-Allergenic, Type CC, bags. These are the exact bags that are listed on the Oreck.com site for $24.99 (SKU: CCPK8DW).

My guess is that one (or more) of the other merchants listed here is selling off-brand products.

Those who posted negative reviews should go back to their order, check which merchant was used, and include that in their review.

These bags are great! They are as advertised and fit my Oreck with a bag dock. Seller provided fast service. Reputable seller.vacuum bags

I hate bagless vaccuums and so I use an Oreck hyperallergenic vaccuum that has super easy to remove bags. I like these particular bags because they catch even the dust mite particles(.33 micron) which most bags just can't catch because they just blow through the bag.(So incredidably tiny). These bags catch everything and are TRUE hepa filter bags which my allergist says I need to use for my asthma.

After reading the other reviews, I was torn as to what to do. Was this a genuine product or a knock-off that wouldn't work well with my Oreck. Having only a few days to finalize preparations for a house full of Thanksgiving guests and having used my last vacuum bag, I simply chose to "take a chance." As with everything I purchase from Amazon, the bags arrived very quickly; and to my delight, they were exactly as described. They were perfect, fit the vacuum, and were of substantial price reduction from other sources.
