This part is a perfect fit for my 10 year old MTD Yard Machines snow thrower (model 150-ish). It was a relief to see that I could still get replacement parts for this machine, and at a very reasonable price.

The cable sold to me is too short. It is shorter than the original by 7/8".
It simply does not do the work. The second one they sent to me, did not work too, for the same reason.

Somebody there did not do his homework properly. Seeing that end fittings look the same, he decided that the cables, 46-005 and 746-0910, must be identical.
Wrong.

Received the cable in about two weeks because I'm in Canada, it's a perfect replacement to the original cable. Blower is back in action and just in time too! Appears to be well made and very smooth.
