My husband and I like the plums very much and have them for breakfast. They are not without the pits. Great taste! E.T.

Unlike the raspberries, the can of plums I opened turned out fine. There is an almond like smell probably from the pit. Despite heavy syrup, the plums did not taste overly sweet. I can't wait to cook with them.

These can's of Oregon Purple Plums are delicious...! They are everything that I remembered them to be...!!

Hard to find whole fruit plums in the sweet syrup like this. Only one store in my area of the NC/SC border carries this product and brand and I buy half the stocked amount. I know there is an attempt to reduce sugar in products but this one one of my few indulgences.Lots of fiber and it does beat prunes for taste. Would like them to can some sweetened rhubarb if they would also.Thanks Oregon canned produce.

I've been trying to find canned plums in our local stores for close to 20 years. Finally bought these on line. They were wonderful and better yet exactly as I remember them from years ago! Just wish I could get them locally so I won't have to pay shipping.

Our local supermarkets quit carrying this particular fruit product and I had become addicted (humor) to the taste. After failing to get the supermarkets to get them for me and doing without for about a year, I was estatic to find it on Amazon. I promptly bought two packs and they are just as delicious as I remembered. Yum! Yum! Yum! When the present supply is gone, another order will be forthcoming.

Delicious Whole Plums in thick Syrup. Great product, love it . . . BUT . . . I can now purchase it at my local Shop-Rite Supermarket as needed.

Love these plums and have two or three each morning. I wish they were available in one of my local food outlets but ????

Other companies used to offer them (Delmonte?)but no longer do so.

Not sure how oregon decides what products will be offered in various stores. e.g. My Stop & Shop carries other Oregon products such as Cheerries for pie filling etc. but not these Purple plums?

I am partial to dishes that combine meat with fruit. In my recipe collection are a couple of delicious recipes using canned plums as a base. Canned plums used to be readily available in grocery stores, but I haven't been able to find them in recent years. A Google search referred me to Amazon.com. I ordered some plums, made my favorite recipe, and enjoyed it as much as I remembered. Thank goodness for canned plums and Amazon.com!
