This Oregon blade combines the unique design of the Gator Mulcher 3-N-1 blade along with the Fusion technology. These 3-N-1 blades can be used for mulching, bagging, or side discharge mowing. Gator Mulcher 3-N-1 blades unique design has revolutionized the way blades mulch grass clippings. The angle of the Gator teeth redirects the air flow to keep the clipping directly in front of the cutting edge. The longer the clippings remain in front of the cutting edge, the finer the size of the clipping. Oregon Fusion blades are the only blade with the patented Fusion process incorporated into its cutting edge. This process infuses. tungsten carbide material into the blade not onto the blade. The Fusion also offers twice the stay-sharp of ordinary blades thus reducing sharpening frequency.

Good, tough, long lasting. I get about two years, mowing rough terrain with frequent roots. Sure it get dull, but rarely gets bent and easily sharpened. A lot better than the original craftsman blades.

These blades seem to cut the grass into smaller pieces than my OEM blades that came with the Husqvarna 42" tractor. But they are still nothing compared to a true mulching blade, there is simply no comparison. They are worth the money though, as I would buy a pair of these before a regular blade again, since they are only a couple of bucks more. Wouldn't pay ALOT more for them though.
