5.0 out of 5 stars Another Excellent Oregon Scientific Product
I recently bought the Oregon Scientific BPW813 Talking Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor. It is an excellent product. It is quite compact and attaches easily to your wrist with a pre-formed velcro secured cuff. You press one button and it pumps up the cuff then automatically releases the pressure in spurts. In a shorter time than it takes me with a manual BP machine it is...

3.0 out of 5 stars talking blood pressure wrist cuff review
The voice is clear and gives good information and retains it in the memory. I do get frustrated as it seems to error quite often and I have to try several times to get a reading on many ocassions. I do wonder how accurate it is to take the bp at the wrist but the cuff does enable me to keep track in some way as I am legally blind. It is ten points off from the one in...

5.0 out of 5 stars Another Excellent Oregon Scientific Product, February 23, 2006
This review is from: Oregon Scientific BPW813 Talking Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor (Health and Beauty)
In a shorter time than it takes me with a manual BP machine it is done. You can have it speak your blood pressure or just read it off the digital screen. The voice part works fine, but I only used it once as I don't want to tax the batteries, and so far I am on the original batteries that came with the unit . It keeps a history of your readings for yourself or to show your physician.

I am delighted with the product.

One of the reasons I bought this product is that I have two Oregon scientific indoor/outdoor thermometers as well, and have given these for gifts, and they work extremely well. One has been working for a long time.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent, March 2, 2006

My fiance' and I are happy to have our blood pressure monitor. He is blind, so the talking voice helps a great deal. He can also hear mine and we compare! This is a very reliable instrument, but make sure to take 3 readings and get an average for an accurate reading. It is very nice in that it gices you the artial pressure reading. When I compare it to my arm pressure cuff, it is fairly accurate.

I highly recommend this to anyone wanting a convient way to take pressure.

This review is from: Oregon Scientific BPW813 Talking Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor (Health and Beauty)
The product was delivered promptly, exactly as describe in literature. The voice is clear, loud and very easily understood. I was disappointed in that the measurements were in mm of hg However I disconnected the battery and

reconnected it and the unit has worked as described, since. I am happy with it.
