The buzzer alarm sounds after the timer counts down to zero; the alarm turns off when you push any button or automatically turns off in 60 seconds. Decent timer but not the best,

Decent timer. Having separate buttons for seconds, minutes and hours is nice, although you rarely need to set seconds. Annoyances: When affixed to the refrigerator by the magnet, the timer wobbles when you push its buttons. You have to take it off the fridge, set it, then put it back on. No "down" button, so if you miss your minute or hour, you have to go all the way around. And alarm is not loud enough to be heard from another room.

I can't remember when I bought this timer,but I've had it forever it seems......I need a new one now and can't find this model...If you find one buy it ,they last forever and can take a licking and keep on ticking.....

I use this timer for EVERYTHING! I now know I can't trust myself to remember something even 1 minute into the future when I'm working on 5 things at once(like having a dinner party for 30).
Because it has two seperate timers, I can time something cooking on the stove, and an item in the broiler. I can put milk in the freezer to chill down when I get home from a long shopping trip, and never forget to take it outof the freezer(if I set the timer). I can quickly set the timer for one hour or one minute. I even use this timer to not forget an important event - whether it's a TV show, or time to start the BBQ. Too bad it's not available at this time, I thought it would make a great gift!
