This compact thermometer is ideal for use at home or in the office. The outdoor waterproof sensor is connected with a 12-foot cable that can be placed under a closed window to keep you well connected to the outside elements: Features: Measures with waterproof outdoor probe. Monitors indoor temperature from 32º to 122º F. Monitors outdoor temperature from Â-58º to 158º F. Display alternates between time and temperature. 12-ft. cable with probe. Great little unit. Extremely reliable and accurate. I use this particular Thermometer in my kitchen to monitor the Temperature on the back patio. The sensor is attached to a long wire that is at least 10 ft. I have had this device ~ a year and have not had to change the batteries. The display is still strong. I have two other wireless Thermometers which are neat but they eat batteries. One of the wireless I have to subtract three degrees from the outside temperature to get a precise reading.

I bought 3 of these when they were from NexxTech. It did not have the clock. It just told the temperature with the same dial to see inside or outside. Well this one, the clock goes back and forth every 4 seconds or-so from selected temperature to clock! It's drvin' me batty!
I suppose I could get used to it, and maybe I can use the clock, I guess : / But I expected a thermometer, not a clock/thermometer : ( It has velcro on the back, a flip stand for a desk, or a keyhole to screw it to the wall. Now I have to pause and wait to see the temp insead of just quickly glancing at the temp.. I'm from NY and every second counts! I would still reccomend it... I have had my other thermometers for over 3 years now, battery life is great using a "AAA" battery.
