From the Manufacturer
With a sleek form and color that can only be the work of widely-acclaimed French designer Philippe Starck, Oregon Scientific's Starck Collection presents the perfect blend of contemporary design and high tech weather monitoring. The clock receives radio signals from the official US Atomic Clock and sets itself accordingly for precision accuracy. It also features a handy calendar and daily crescendo alarm with snooze. Measuring just 3 by 3 by 1-1/2 inches, this small device is easy to pack along, and fits nicely on the windowsill. The barometer features easy-to-read weather forecast symbols (sunny, partly cloudy, cloudy and rainy), and graphical trend indicators (rising, falling, or steady). An optional altitude compensation setting (-100 m to 2500 m) keeps weather forecasts accurate at lower and higher elevations. Oregon Scientific's HiGlo backlight ensures easy night-time viewing.
