Product Description

Amazon.com Review

With the ExactSet projection clock from Oregon Scientific, you can be as on time as the most accurate clock in the U.S. That's because the ExactSet clock uses radio frequency to pick up signals from the U.S. Atomic Clock in Boulder, Colorado. The result is an extremely accurate timepiece that updates itself six times a day, never needs resetting, and adjusts automatically for daylight savings. The clock has plenty of convenient features, too, such as the crescendo alarm, the eight-minute snooze, and the dual display that shows current time and alarm time at once. The clock also features a swiveling arm with a 90-degree rotation and a 12-foot range that projects the time in red when you push a button. Backlit with a pleasant blue glow, the screen also indicates the date and day (in English, French, or Spanish), as well as time zone, alarm status, and radio-frequency strength. Powered by two AA batteries or the included AC adapter, the clock only works in the continental U.S. --Emily Bedard

actually... November 28, 2003
By Phil
I actually have this clock. The ceiling display can be rotated from 0-90 degrees, or there it a button to rotate 180degrees -- giving you 360 degrees. Its sittin on my nightstand, approx. 12 feet from me, right now, and I can read the LCD display from here. It's designed to not be a bright light when you're sleeping, and when the alarm goes off it auto-lights the LED and the LCD displays, so you can see it. :)

Great Clock July 14, 2007
I really really like this clock. People complain that the projection light is not visible in daylight. I don't think it is meant to be. It's for night time purposes and works really well at night. The volume of the alarm function is loud enough to wake me but not so loud that it wakes my wife. Great product.

This unit would be SO COOL if it worked. But after the return period, mine stopped working, OS product support was useless to repair/replace. This isn't the first time I've had problems with OS products. I would avoid any of them if I were you. This company should give you "stars" back. This is a -1 star product and company.

Good look, bad design
You try to turn off the alarm in the dark and trying to find the button, the clock falls down because its base is small and the shape is slim. Read more

Hard to read
The projected image from this clock is too dim and too small to be comfortably read. I would not purchase this particular clock again. Read more

Does the job
I was trying to replace the one I had for years but this must be a different model. It is not as sturdy and does not have a button in the back to reverse the projected time. Read more

Returned it
This is not a terrible clock, but it would not project onto the ceiling above the bed. I returned it and bought one that would from Hammacher Schlemmer.
