Designed for runners, this slim, lightweight stopwatch offers several functions including a calendar and alarm clock, a chronograph, a timer, and a pacer. The chronograph registers up to 500 laps and 30 segments and you can choose from four different units of display. The timer counts up or down to a maximum of 23 hours, 59 minutes, and 59 seconds. At the end of a countdown, you can set the timer to stop, repeat the countdown, or count up. The pacer ranges from 30 to 240 beeps per minute at five-step intervals and can run simultaneously with the chronograph. A button on the upper right of the stopwatch lets you switch among all four modes, while a button on the right side starts and stops lap counting. The watch also has a lap reset button on the left and a button on top to switch on the electro-luminescent backlighting for easy viewing. Shaped to hold in the palm of a hand, the unit has rubberized, easy-to-grip sides and a safety cord for wearing around the neck. This 100-lap stopwatch runs on a 1-CR2032 lithium 3-volt battery, which is included, and is covered by a three-month warranty. --Cristina Vaamonde

My wife is about to have a baby, and I bought this to keep track of contractions that will hopefullly begin soon. I like this stopwatch, it is light, fairly easy to use. The instructions need some help. There are times when you need to hold one button and then press another. The directions do not convey that very well.In the end, I am glad I bought it, it works very well.
