It cuts just as well as the OEM chain did when new, so overall, I'm very happy with it.

This 16-inch Oregon S57 chain is a perfect fit for my Worx WG303.1 saw and the price here on Amazon was substantially less than the Worx branded replacement chain. I see that Oregon even makes the Worx OEM chain, so that probably explains why it seems exactly the same in every detail. It cuts just as well as the OEM chain did when new, so overall, I'm very happy with it.
I think it's always a good idea to have a spare saw chain on hand, but probably even more so if you own the Worx saw. Since you can't advance the chain by hand on their WG303 saw, even with the chain brake disengaged, you have to remove, reposition and re-tension the chain several times to be able to sharpen all of the teeth with a 5/32" file. This does add some extra time and hassle to the process, especially when you're right in the middle of a cutting job you want to finish, so I find it's simply a lot faster and more convenient to just swap out chains and then sharpen the dull chain later at a more convenient time. With the quick-change feature on the Worx saw, a chain swap and re-tension literally takes maybe 30-seconds from start to finish, even allowing for a few seconds to wipe debris out of the cover plate with a rag before reinstalling it.

I bought this for my old McCulloch (MAC 3200 - 15 years old) chain saw. The bar length is 14 inches and it had the original bar and chain. After searching the major home centers I finally found the "S49" chain I needed. The "S" has to do with the sprocket type on the saws' drive mechanism and the "49" tell the number of drive links in the chain. Too bad I didn't see it here first, It's a couple bucks cheaper. Check your old chain for the number of drive links. If you are using the same bar, be sure to buy the same number of drive links or else you can ruin your sprocket and new chain.

Don't try any other size chains unless you really know what you are doing. They probably won't fit properly.

This new chain fits, works fine and the saw cuts like new ... at least for now. I cut up some six to 8 inch diameter white birch trees and it went through very easily. A huge improvement over my old chain. I'm using this at home, not in an industrial situation. I'm sure there are better, more durable chains at higher prices for heavy duty work. For light use I think this will be just fine and the price is reasonable.

If you need one, give it a try.

As mentioned in another review, this chain does come in a cardboard box and not the blister pack in the image. The part number on the box label is 91PX057G.

The original Oregon chain on my 16 inch Worx electric chainsaw suddenly became very dull after cutting some very dense oak. The price for this replacement chain was only $14 on Amazon when I ordered it, so I couldn't come up with a good reason to bother with sharpening the old chain or getting it sharpened. Except for cleaning oily caked-on sawdust off of the parts of my saw, swapping the chains was extremely easy. This new chain cuts great!

I took a chance on this chain for my Echo CS-370 even though I wasn't really sure if it would fit (no info online plus the package doesn't list my chainsaw model). I threw it on just to see if it fit and gave it a quick test on some oak logs.... and wow! It cut through the oak like it was butter. I thought my other two chains (which I keep sharp) cut well, but nothing like this.

I haven't used it long enough to dull it, so i can't comment on how long it stays sharp. But I am so impressed with the cutting ability that I'm giving it 5 stars.

Installed this on my newer Echo chain saw as locals charge so much (~$10) to sharpen the current chain and it didn't seem as sharp as when new. Wow this thing cuts like a warm knife through butter (so goes the saying). I don't recall even the new chain working this well. Hopefully it will last too.... time will tell but so far... money well spent for spare chain.

Great product, good price, and fast delivery. I am in Washington state and we just went through Snowmageddon. Our trees had 10+ years of growth over mild winters so there were may branches that were over extened and the weight of the ice storm leveraged them to the breaking point. Trees, branches, split trunks, fences, flattened shrubs, you name it. My old saw blade was so dull that it barely got through the bark. It was raining so I got on line and ordered this blade - received it in 2 days, just in time for a clear day and got all the debris cut up. worked great. would by Oregon brand again. NOTE: count the chain links before ordering this was an S49=49 links. Perfect fit - be sure you count first.

Bought this to replace my McCullogh Electric 14 inch saw chain, which I had used for years. Noticed upon receipt and before installation that it was a much lighter and flimsier chain. Upon first use, it cut well, but dulled quickly, and I wonder how durable it is, and how many sharpenings it could take. But it is cheap, and the OEM McCullogh chains are no longer avaiable, at least not for a decent price--if you call McCullogh, third party answers--the company went bankrupt and excess parts are being sold by 3rd party--they want $50 for the chain. So this Oregon is more affordable--even though not as long lasting. Should prepare to replace often.
