This review is from: Oregon State Parks: A Complete Recreation Guide (Paperback)
The book took some work, it is well written and illustrated and mostly accurate from what I can see of the local state parks mentioned. All that said, I did not get any information from it that I could not get from free publication from the State Parks themselves. If you intend to visit a number of Oregon State Parks at a time then this may be a good one stop publication that has a little back round information such as " one of the few State Parks not to have a sign at the entrance" (Bolen Island, actually it does)but all the pertinent information you need is available from Oregon State Parks for free.

We recently returned from a vacation in Oregon and found the book on Oregon State Parks very helpful. Oregon uses lottery money to build new parks, refurbish old parks, build new playgrounds in the parks and provide full hookups at a minimal cost.

This book was purchased to support a planned photography trip to Oregon. The descriptions of the parks along with the maps provided great background for my trip which included visits to some of Oregons state parks.
