hadn't tried a low kickback chain before, was concerned it might not cut as fast as a full chisel but it rips thru logs just fine. my old saw doesn't have a chain stop though so i figured this would be safer for awkward angle cuts. a big oak came down across the driveway 2 days after i put the new chain on and boy was i glad to have a sharp saw handy. i'd buy this chain again without hesitation.

The chain cuts just fine. Oregon says that it works as fast as a full chisel chain, but since I don't time what I'm doing, I couldn't really tell. I try to be careful, so I've never had any real problem with kickback, in any event, but if this chain provides an extra layer of safety and works just as well, I figure why not use it. Also, I'm writing this just after cutting with a brand new chain and a new chain cuts better than an old chain, no matter what the configuration.

Not sure what brand of chain came stock on my Husqvarna and from the Husq dealer where I got them...never thought to look at the time...but these Oregon chains blow them away. Couldn't find any markings I could interpreting those old ones, but these Oregon chains last longer, cut thru oak and cedar faster, and seem to stay tensioned properly MUCH longer. Yes, I did sharpen the old chains and cleaned & lined the bar regularly, kept the oiler adjusted and tank filled. Recommend highly.

It cut and ran very nicely for a couple of sharpenings worth of work. But by then it had stretched so much that it no longer fit the bar on my Husqvarna 455 Rancher. Very disappointing because it cut well.

Performs as anticipated and as described. It fits the bar and functions perfectly. Hopefully, it will last for a few years.
