Organic Cinnamon Chai contains rooibos, cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, chicory, cloves, black pepper, stevia and natural cinnamon flavor and may be enjoyed hot or cold, with milk, a non-dairy beverage or plain. Chai is just a word that means tea in many countries around the world. In fact, in China, the word for tea is cha. But chai that you see in health food stores is more like an East Indian "masalla chai" which is made with traditional black tea and sweet and savory spices like cardamom, cloves and ginger. Traditionally, chai would be brewed with milk and sugar. Our Organic Chai is similar to masalla chai but with a few changes.
