I bought this book instead of the seventh version, because I heard that the differences between the sixth edition and the seventh edition were very minor. I didn't notice any difference between this book and the seventh edition based curriculum. It is a very intense class, though, so it makes it pretty hard to notice differences due to the amount of content taught during the limited duration of the class.
