Francis A. Carey, a native of Pennsylvania, was educated in the public schools of Philadelphia, at Drexel University. Following postdoctoral work at Harvard and military service, he was appointed to the chemistry faculty of the University of Virginia in 1966.

Great textbook...terrible shipping,

I've used this textbook for my organic chemistry class in college, and I highly recommend it. It is written very well and has great practice problems. My only issue with this transaction was the shipping time. It took over a month for me to receive the item. There is no reason for that to happen.
