As with the organic cotton reusable produce bags I also purchased (they were solid bags, not mesh), I absolutely love these mesh produce bags! I have used reusable canvas grocery bags for years (even before reusable bags became popular), and always hated using the grocery store plastic bags for my produce. When I saw these bags I was so excited. The bags have their tare weight on them, so the clerk can deduct the bag weight from the total weight of the produce (although, honestly, the bags weigh so little, they really don't make that much difference in the total weight and cost of what you're purchasing). I like the fact, too, that they are organic - no chemicals were used to bleach the cotton, nor were any pesticides used in the cotton crop. If you are really into helping the environment, which I would imagine you are since you're looking at these bags, make sure to read what they are made of and if chemicals or pesticides were used to make them. It makes a difference! I highly recommend these bags!
