I glad to have the Epazote seeds, but $[...] for S&H!? Oh please, this is a pack of seeds, not a book. The instructions were 7th grade general "seed" germination, nothing special to Epazote. I also thought almost two weeks was a bit too long for mailing.

These seeds did not germinate. We are proficient gardeners and everything came up nicely except what we ordered from Burpee. Considering triple the cost plus $4.95 S&H for 1 little packet of seeds, I will not risk ordering again

It is best to plant in containers. It will easily spread and take over garden. It is used a lot in Mexican dishes.

I sowed the seeds in rich loamy organic garden in early May (last frost is generally beginning or mid-April). We had a weird and unexpected frost within a week of planting and none of the seeds came up. Will try these again and hopefully post better results since they're a traditional yet hard-to-find spice for Mexican cooking. Be sure to follow the planting directions about frost and temperature.

Epazote? I never heard about it, either, but then I read that it is much used in Mexican cooking. My plants do not have flowers or seeds yet, but they are growing great.

probably should have made sure I kept with my organic quest. But these grow prolifically and expect them to show up everywhere in my garden next season.
