This protein bar is the best tasting 100% organic bar that I have tried. Also, I live in the desert with temperatures up to 120 degrees in the summer, and this bar keeps well in my backpack even in this climate. I recommend it to vegans and non-vegans without reservation.

I've been buying these for a couple years now.

Starting 6-9 months ago, the bars are often dripping in oil. Not moist, dripping. They use to always be the same slightly moist texture. Lately, I've even received boxes that were oil stained.

I've called a couple times to complain, but they never call back.

I still occasionally buy these, though only when I'm going to be home or office so I have multiple paper towels to soak up the oil.

A couple years ago, I would have given them 5 stars. Not anymore.

i found this bar online and the ingredients looked really good. but luckily before buying a box of 12 I decided to try one from my local wholefoods. i agree with the previous reviewer describing it as "an oily mess" - it was literally dripping with oil - really disgusting! maybe at one time they were better i wish i had tried it then. but i don't think i'll ever give this bar another chance. The 2 stars i gave - is for the nutritional value.... The taste, texture, smell - eewwww...!!!!

I have a stomach ulcer and was told that eating more raw foods would help the healing process. I eat the vegan variety of this bar for my mid-morning snack and have no stomach issues. It's delicious, moist, filling and the texture is amazing, not too dry. (One commenter said it's too oily. First off, almond butter is a main ingredient, oils come with the territory. Secondly, I'm a big texture eater, and the texture of this bar is amazingly smooth and enjoyable.) I've also had to cut out caffeine from my diet because of the ulcer; this bar gives me a noticeable increase in energy, from the inside out. My local health food store sells similar bars for $3 each. I will gladly spend a little over $2 per bar online. TLDR: I highly recommend this product.

I have just ordered another box of the Organic Food Bars. They are great and have a wonderful taste, too.
I was in the hospital and had my gallbladder removed. I was told to avoid fat so I decided to try these bars two days afterward. They have almond butter but everything is very smooth and there are no visible pieces of nuts. It worked great! No problems with digestion and it tasted great, too... with raw foods to help give my health a boost. Great bars. I'm on my second box.
