I've been sprouting seeds for years. Bought this crap to sprout them and consume them as part of my raw food diet, and they're NOT SPROUTING SEEDS!! I ended up having to give them to someone who eats cooked foods. I gave this ONE star simply because I couldn't give it zero!! If you're looking for sprouting seeds, stay away from this!! I ended up buying from Sproutpeople.org. Their seeds sprout like a charm.

With two diffent sprouting containers, these never sprouted. Despite varying the pre-soaking time and rinsing frequency, these were quite smelly and moldy before ever sprouting. So, I cooked the remaining batch, which was also mush in comparison to store-bought quinoa. I'd give it NO STARS, but that's not an option.

The Quinoa we wanted to sprout then dry the sprouts, grind to flour with them, add them to our sprouted wheat flour, to add extra protein to our regular sprouted home whole wheat bread. We tried and tried but they refused to sprout. We have three kinds of sprouting methods. And wanted the burst of extra nutrition that grains gain from being sprouted. The the third seed ordered (Kamut) sprouted fine with our methods and tastes very good.

The supplier was fine and gave us a refund to our Amazon card

Having this delicious grain to sprout or juice makes me feel at ease, having it be gluten free is even that much better, for a person who cannot tolerate most types of grains Quinoa is wonderful!
