Organic Sprouting Seeds Radish Mix 1 Pound Daikon Radish and Red Rose Radish

These seeds are reasonably priced and germinate well. Growing them straight, they are a bit too spicy for my taste, so I mix my seeds with broccoli and alfalfa. They're excellent for many purposes including salads, sandwiches and bagel toppings. If you've only had alfalfa sprouts, you're missing the boat. Radish and broccoli sprouts (among others) at home can supply you with your own home-grown organic vegetables over the winter, saving you money and trips to the store, while having fresh tasty and healthy vegetables conveniently growing in your kitchen. For a Japanese salad treat, try radish sprouts with a dash of soy sauce or ginger salad dressing, it's a great side dish with sushi.
The seeds are organic and clean (I didn't see any pebbles or dirt in the bag), shipping was fast, and no excessive packaging was used. Just a good weight polyethylene bag with a twist tie, and a paper label.

5-Star product and service. I have been ordering products from Sprout House (both direct and via Amazon) for some time. I am very pleased with the quality of their sprout seeds. Up until my last order I always received the sprouting seeds in plastic bags, but in my most recent order (May 2010) I received my radish seeds and my broccoli seeds in a convenient, reusable, clear plastic screw-top container that holds exactly one pound of seeds! This was a delighter for me as the containers work well for my RV lifestyle. One disappointment: I'd like to be able to order kale seeds from Sprout House - fulfilled by Amazon - in the same plastic containers. They were not available from Sprout House on Amazon and I had to order them directly from Sprout House. Unfortunately, they came from Sprout House in a plastic bag rather than the screw top container.

I got hooked on daikon radish sprouts and had been buying the seeds (for much more money) at a local nursery. These sprouts are delicious, and the percentage that germinate is very high.

The Radishes didn't come in a plastic container as shown, they came in a flimsy bag. BOTH bags were broke open & loose in the box (what was left of them) I'm sure there was a trail from the warehouse to my house because there was a trail up my sidewalk to my porch.

I don't think Amazon's packaging would have made a difference the box it came in was intact - the bags were just flimsy. Plastic containers would have been helpful but they WEREN'T packaged in containers.

A nice peppery mix for those who enjoy sprouts. Great when added to a salad of home greens, EVO and homemade brewed vinegar. Good when mixed with alfalfa sprouts on a mayo sandwich. Sprouts very well with few culls. Recommend them highly.

These mixed radish sprouts are terrific, they have just a hint of a spicy heat.

The un-sprouted seeds come in a very nice plastic container and have a long shelf life [5 yrs].

The seeds sprout quickly and easy, with a very high germination rate. No fancy equipment is needed, I grow mine in a wide mouth large canning jar with a piece of screening held in place with a canning band. Just need about 3½ tablespoons of seed per quart capacity of the jar, and in about 5 days they are ready.

Great seeds, high sprout rate, good taste, fast delivery and will order other products from this retailer in the future!

I was happy with my purchase of the radish sprouting mix. They are quite spicy and hot! So if you like a hot sprout you won't be disappointed!
