It did not help me much with my grades and I ended buying another reference book.

I bought is as a required book for Organic Lab I, but I recommend it as a reference for any chemist.

Every week I do my class reading with Zubrick telling me how dumb I would be if I did this.

I found this guide not as helpful as it could have been. It is still very wordy and too sarcastic. Every week I do my class reading with Zubrick telling me how dumb I would be if I did this. I'm not sure that counts as witty.

This is a LIFE saver for organic chemistry labs! It's great to be able to go over the lab techniques. The writing is very informal so you don't have to read it and go, "...HUH??" It also points out common mistakes people make so that YOU aren't the one learning the hard way! Worth the cash.

I learned a lot about taking notes, keeping organized, and how labs work. I saw many new chem terms as well. All around it was a great book which explained a lot. Definitely buy this if you have a few hours and want to know more -- quick read!
