Ethiopian Harrar has become a very popular alternative to Yirgachefffe recently, and we have secured a limited supply of these high quality beans from small farms in the Eastern parts of the country. Harrar features a strong dry edge, winy to fruit like acidity, rich aroma, and a heavy body. We roast this bean to a City Roast level to bring out the subtle fruity and winy notes in the cup. This coffee is almost always in the best espresso blends, as it really adds to the aromas in the crèma. This coffee is packaged in a 2-ply foil valve bag to preserve freshness.
