I have been buying vanilla beans from him for years now, and they are the BEST EVER!!! They are delicious, fresh, and just generally amazing. I recommend these to anyone who wants REAL vanilla in their lives (and not that fake, processed extract stuff). You will not be let down, I promise!

these beans were big and juicy with so many seeds! the flavor was so incredible the same recipe i have been using for years tasted much more rich and my family noticed a considerable difference.

I had been watching a lot of cooking shows and using fresh vanilla seemed like a great idea...I bought these for that purpose. I told my husband about one show that described how to make your own vanilla with vodka. My husband used all of the vanilla beans I purchased in a liter of vodka, 3 months later...we had some really flavorful vanilla extract. I then split the beans and took out the seed paste to use too. I will buy them again!

Vanilla beans are pretty expensive compared to average spices, and I was a little dubious about these because the after shipping cost came up to only about $0.67/bean, so I was concerned they'd be substandard in some way. A few days later exactly 30 very aromatic, moist, full size vanilla beans showed up in my mailbox. They have everything I am looking for in a vanilla bean, and I'm very pleased with the purchase. I made some vanilla ice cream, stuck a couple in my sugar jar, and vacuum sealed the rest. When I run out (in like a year), I'll buy these again.

I love them. We are using them to make Vanilla Extract. How we are doing this is. We cut them open and put them in vodka and let it sit for a month or so.
