This review is from: Organization Behaviour,1890-1940 (Thoemmes Press - Foundations of Modern Management) (Hardcover)
If you study management then you might think the field was invented by Peter Drucker in the 50s or by Herbert Simon slightly earlier. In this anthology you get a different perspective. Forgotten writers from the first half of the 20th century talk in quite an intelligent manner about management. The books are more about management than organizational behavior. This set is definitely for the historian of management and possibly also for the business school academic that needs some inspiration.
