5.0 out of 5 stars Organizational Behavior: Experiences and Cases
I first experienced this book in a touchie feelie Org Behavior class in grad school. The class was fun and a welcome change from the grim lecture style that was (is?) so common in college. The curious thing is that years later it is probably the most memorable class and this book was the center of it. The experiental excersizes brought dry often vague management theory...

I specifically thought I was buying a later edition (i.e., the latest) but got the orginal paperback dated 1986. Am very frustrated that this is one of the great difficulties in buying from Amazon or it's partners (knowing what edition you are going to get). I have recognized this difficulty prior but through the years thought I have learned how to either NOT buy or...

I first experienced this book in a touchie feelie Org Behavior class in grad school. The class was fun and a welcome change from the grim lecture style that was (is?) so common in college. The curious thing is that years later it is probably the most memorable class and this book was the center of it. The experiental excersizes brought dry often vague management theory to life. I still refer to the book to think through management problems and review background for insights on why people, groups and organizations act the way they do. If only more books and courses could be this good, people might learn, understand and use the ideas. This is a great book.

I specifically thought I was buying a later edition (i.e., the latest) but got the orginal paperback dated 1986. Am very frustrated that this is one of the great difficulties in buying from Amazon or it's partners (knowing what edition you are going to get). I have recognized this difficulty prior but through the years thought I have learned how to either NOT buy or know what edition I was getting. This time I was completely fooled. This experience has reminded me to once again be completely wary of editions when buying from Amazon or don't buy. Bill Clover
