I never knew where to start when facing the task of organizing my house after the winter. Clearing the clutter, switching winter/summer clothes, dreadful....! Not only did I find in this book solutions to clean and store, but I also discovered many useful tips to keep my house organized. I bought the book 2 months ago, and so far so good!!!

It's a pretty book -- with great design ideas, and the index in the back is good for possible organization solutions, but this book focuses more on major renovation-type organization a lot (ie. cabinets/custom units etc.) and less about a true breakdown of how long to keep stuff, important stuff to keep, vs. stuff to toss, etc. Good general guide...

This is a very generic organization book. If you are absolutely desperate or an extreme novice, it's not bad, but there are plenty of other great organization books. One great alternative for any level of chaos is Eliminate Chaos: The 10-Step Process to Organize Your Home and Life.

This was a very helpful book. It gave me great ideas and had wonderful pictures to get my imagination flowing with ways to organize my home!

In a sympathetic and understanding way, this book describes, in an orderly fashion, how to organize your stuff. No fault-finding, just great information.

I'm an experienced Closet Designer and found this book to be a wonderful read. I enjoyed and was inspired by the crisp, clean, beautiful images and was charmed by many useful tips, including grouping photos in like frames, all antique frames (or all modern frames) for example, to create the look of a cohesive collection. Kudos to author Merv Kaufman!

I was really disappointed in this book and wouldn't recommend it. There are far better books if you're looking for ideas on how to declutter and reorganize while keeping the stress level down.
