I'm so incredibly glad someone has finally developed a concise, easy-to-digest and use organizing book that you can actually read and absorb in less than half an hour. (And believe me, I've read and purchased a lot of them!) I read my copy cover to cover while waiting for my lunch to arrive at my table. It was a pivotal moment in my life - no exaggeration.

I'm already a pretty organized person, but this book has tips and common sense ideas for de-cluttering not just your work space, but your home and LIFE. You will suddenly see your self, your stuff, and your habits in a refreshing new light.

I've already (happily and painlessly) tossed out a truckload (literally) of stuff from old clothing to old catalogs that I had been saving for too long and simply did not need. I can't wait to apply her advice to every corner of my home and office.

Each time I've followed one of the tips described in this book I felt lighter, less stressed, more in control and (dare I say it?) energized. Not to mention clearer. Plus Hope Lafferty's tight, witty, and understanding, yet direct writing style will give you a chuckle as you face your clutter demons. (How does she know??? Has she been snooping around my office???)

At only, what, $9 each, you can afford to buy a copy for yourself, for your co-workers, your family and friends, your neighbor with the pile of junk in his or her yard. What a wonderful, useful, life changing stocking stuffer or token gift this is! Thanks & congrats to the author! Can't wait for her next book!

This was a huge waste of money. I don't know what book the other reviewers purchased, but this is just a little stocking stuffer - type book with a couple of entries for each letter of the alphabet. Most of them are so obvious it's embarassing. Under "S," for example, "Staples: don't overstock." "Staplers: buy a quality one." For "R," "Rainy days: only save an umbrella and waterproof shoes."

Come on.

I find this book to be very useful. The simple phrases (such as my personal favorite: bulletin boards - vertical wastebaskets) are easy to remember and the ideas can be implemented right away. A total bargain at $9 - and if I waited to read a 200-page book on getting organized, I'd never do it.

At last an excellent, concise and sensible book about clearing away the cobwebs of clutter that infest our desks and cubicles. Its simple easy-to-read style puts many long winded tomes to shame. Nobody serious about simplifying their work-life wants to wade through a morass of unnecessary verbiage on the subject of clutter. Hope's vibrant sense of humor keeps you chuckling as you add item upon item to the circular file. Well Done!

Duh! It's a about time someone made organizing easy! I'm too busy to read long winded prose about the glories of time management and organization...that's why I needed the book in the first place! Organizing A-Z is straight to the point, bite-sized morsels of wisdom that you can't remember how you ever lived without! Get one for yourself and get one to give away.

Organizing Workspace: A to Z puts the fun in organizing and takes the fear out. It is the greatest assest for keeping life and the workplace free flowing. Hope has captured the essence of resistance to organzing in a way that you can see your flaws and laugh out loud. Great book!!
