This review is from: Organizing Your Home & Family (Paperback)
The title of the book "organizing your home and family" led me to believe that there would be lots of info on setting up systems for organization in a family home (lots of food, lots of toys, lots of books, lots of school papers, lots of mail, etc.) What this seemed to be mostly about is getting your family to help you. The first part examines the mother and why she might not be getting the cooperation she needs from the family (including husband), and the second part has info about putting systems in place to get your kids to help. I have 3 kids, 4, 6 and 8 years old who help me when I ask. I never have to nag. My problem is figuring out how the process should work so my willing family can help. So, this book was pretty useless to me. I admit that I did not read it from cover to cover word for word because I just couldn't get interested. The info was either old news to me or unnecessary. If you have an uncooperative family and are nagging all the time, I think this would be a great help.
