I'm not usually one to gush about hair products (especially not ones that cost $40 a bottle!), but this is just too good not to rave about.
Think of this as equal parts light hold styling spray, dry shampoo, and root lifter. It's got just enough hold that you encounter gentle resistance when running your fingers through it, but not so much that your hair is stiff.
It's clear, invisible, doesn't flake, and can be layered upon itself.
It smells AMAZING.
Once I covered the roots pretty well with a few blasts of this stuff, my hair FELT like it was twice as thick -- this makes it PERFECT for prepping your hair before up-do's, or before pinning parts of it back -- it gives enough "tacky" grip that styles stay, and it adds enough volume that styles look polished.
If that sounds enough like a commercial -- it should. After plenty of attempts to use a bit of hair spray, a little bit of dry shampoo and a little bit of back-combing, THIS spray comes along and does it all.
I can sleep on it, and then wake up in the morning and my hair still looks good - a little touch-up and it's good.
Can't say enough good things about this spray.
HOWEVER -- I have long, naturally slightly-wavy, course hair that I typically only wash once a week or so -- so I'm looking for something that will help my hair look "styled" and fresh between washes. If you have fine, straight hair, I'm not sure how this would hold up -- but an added perk -- it's invisible -- no white residue, it brushes out afterward -- amazing stuff.

I swear by this product. It gives hair much better texture and makes it easier to work with. I recommend watching the You Tube video published by Oribe on how to use this product.

The product comes out of the spray a bit too quickly and harshly. Bit hard to control. It's not something I'd probably purchase again. Baby powder and a bit of hair spray can do the trick just as easily.

I was a skeptic when considering this purchase solely based on price. It's definitely not cheap. I bit the bullet, made the purchase & am glad I did. I have fine hair and am on the ever ending quest to find that magic potion that gives me big bouncy volume like you see on all those shampoo commercials. Typically after I style, I hold up sections of my hair, spray generously and then tease immediately after. I then fluff up the roots with my fingers and comb/smooth over. It definitely gives me more volume than I've had in the past. This stuff also smells amazing. The reason for not giving it 5 stars is because A). The price and B). While it does great for me, it's not holy )#*$&R&& this stuff is amazing. That said until I find something better I'm probably going to continue using this product and would definitely recommend it for thin/fine haired girls like myself.

This is pretty expensive, but it's great to give lift & volume... Comes out in a blast-...But great for fluffing humid/flat hair...But $40+??? Too bad on the price (It's probably just aerated dirt!! HA!) If it were cheaper--I'd buy a case!

Oribe Dry Texturing Hair Spray, 8.5 OunceThis spray does what it says it will. The problem is that it is very expensive for the quantity you receive. The length of my hair is to just below my chin. I use it sparingly and still the spray is almost empty. I can't afford to buy it again:-(

I've heard a lot about this product and wanted to try it. The smell is really nice (my fiancé even commented on it) but I have fine hair and have found it makes my hair feel a little gunky so if I use it I pull my hair back and wash it the next day.
