Good Travel Wrist Watch,
By Tool Time (Cantonment, Florida United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Orient Men's CEY04001B World-Time Black Automatic Watch (Watch)
This be a big watch! It has the reliable Orient 46H51 mechanical movement with excellent timekeeping ability. I got this watch primarily for traveling and I am pleased with its world time capability.
Things I like: - Precise in house Orient 46H51 automatic 23-jewel mechanical movement 26,600 bph - Power reserve meter (displays the approximate hours of power reminaing) - Solid stainless steel bracelet with double push button clasp and lock tab - Crowns at 2 and 4 (minimum wrist impingement) - Sapphire (scratch resistant) crystal - Big case (43mm at crowns, 12.7mm thick), big dial (38mm), 22mm lug width - Date sub dial - Display back - Excellent lume; when the lights go out it becomes a simple, easy to read watch! - Water resistance 100 meters (330 feet) Things I don't like so much: - No sweep second hand; second hand is small sub dial at 7 position - Calendar and seconds sub dials are obscured by the hour and minute hands - Characters on calendar dial are small and difficult to read - Asymmetrical main dial (difficult to scan the time quickly) - "Busy" dial and bezel design, lots of very small characters, no room for numerals for the primary time zone indices - No hand winding - No hacking but easy to synchronize seconds by putting slight backward pressure on crown

This review is from: Orient Men's CEY04001B World-Time Black Automatic Watch (Watch)
I purchased this watch because I was looking for a fully automatic GMT, with a crystal backing, sharp face, and sapphire front crystal on a steel band.
I was choosing between Hamilton, Invicta and Swiss Army. Then I came across this Orient. I thought the watch looked nice in pictures, it's amazing in person. Extremely detailed and crisp. Additionally, it's SOLID. It's weighty and the band is thick and sturdy. One of the nicest bands I've ever seen on a watch. The lume on the face is decent, although I've never had high regard for lume on anything except the Seiko Monster series. What's best is that few people own Orients stateside. I am asked about the watch all the time. Orient is a long-time watch maker in Japan (purchased by Seiko - but still use their own movements). Orient stands by the quality of their watches. You won't be disappointed with this purchase."
