Milt Timmons was born in Houston, TX, in 1933. Served in the US Naval Reserve during the Korean war. Graduated from University of Houston as Broadcasting major, 1958. Graduated from UCLA with M.A. in Theater Arts, 1961. Worked as junior executive at CBS Hollywood, 1961-62. Professor of Theater Arts, Sam Houston State University, Huntsville, TX, 1963-67. Received PhD from University of Southern California as Cinema major, 1975. Chairman of Cinema Dept., Los Angeles Valley College, 1970-92.

Author of six books, including Lucifer's Handbook, 1977; Orientation to Cinema, 1988; Everything About the Bible That You Never Had Time to Look Up, 2002; Regarding an Angel's Flight, 2004; 2084 - A Tale of Post America, 2008. Listed in Who's Who in America since 1991.
