A nice book for children,

This review is from: Origami Greeting Cards (Paperback)
This book shows you how to make flat pieces (flowers, fans rockets, Santa Claus, etc.) of origami that can then be affixed to a card. It does not show you how to make the actual card using origami. While it may entertain your children, I feel it has limited appeal for adults. For those looking to make beautiful cards using origami they should check out "Creative Cards" by Yoshiko Kitagawa. Creative Cards is not limited to origami folds, but it is a wonderful book with many lovely cards.

This book show you many different ways of using origami to make beautiful cards. This book also has a the best detailed section of how to make folds that I have seen. This makes the book great even if you are a beginner to origami. The price of the book is also a plus. I would highly recomend this book.

This book is very thin but it contains 25 simple origami patterns of buildings, flowers, plants, people, and objects that can be used to make a variety of pictures. There are 16 card ideas depicted on the inside front and back covers but you can use these simple shapes to make your own pictures. Simple enough for children to use but an adult can make creative use of these ideas too.
Definitely a bargain at the price.

I make origami greeting cards for craft shows and do a lot of origami in my craft classes and I was hopeful that this book with have some new ideas, but only use this book for one design and that's the fan. Disappointed.

The origami models in this book are fun and VERY EASY to make. I highly recommend it for teachers wanting to introduce students to the wonders of origami. However, this is not a book for those who enjoy making challenging designs
