This paper is small, but if you're tackling a Senbazuru, and feel like you will not make mistakes, this is pretty much perfect. The finished piece will not be overwhelmingly large because each crane will be small and easily strung. I have found that some of the colors of paper fold more easily than others, but the paper in general is easy to work with. And the variety of color is pretty amazing.
The sheets are colored on one side and the other is white, except for the white sheets, where both sides are white.

My duaghter now has paper cranes in every color of the rainbow! The pages were a little smaller than we were expecting, but definitely useable. It might be helpful if the dimensions were well placed in the description of the product.

I don't understand people complaining over the size of this paper when the item description very clearly says that these are mini-sheets...

Anyway, this is good quality origami paper. I agree with one reviewer who said that some colors appear to be easier to fold than others, but they're all fairly easy to work with. The paper is colored on one side, white on the other.

I purchased this item because I wanted to fold 1000 origami cranes (senbazuru). I prefer my paper small to begin with, so the small size was no problem. In fact, I actually found the size bigger than what I wanted, so I ended up dividing the paper into fourths and using the 1/4th sized sheets instead. Worked out perfectly for my purposes, and I still have 750 sheets left over!

My grandson has been raving about this paper ever since Christmas. He is a major origami enthusiast and he says it is the perfect size and thickness...plus 1000 sheets.

The only problem I had was that I thought the paper was a bit larger. I don't remember seeing the size of the sheets on the product specifications. That is why I only gave 4 stars. If the size was listed, then I am sorry.

In second or third grade our teacher read our class the book, "Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes." That was in 1992 or 1993. I am 25 now, and one day when I was shopping for something else on Amazon, I typed in "origami paper" and ordered this. I always wanted to fold a 1,000 origami cranes, and the size was perfect! The colors are vibrant and beautiful. It was a great experience, so I decided to share some of the pictures!

The papers are 7x7 cm, one side colored and the other side white, easy to fold; great for modular builds

...I bought 4 of them and made them all into paper cranes and covered my friends workspace in paper cranes. Great for practical jokes =3 ... or making paper cranes... I guess...

It's a bit hard to fold these smaller sheets of paper, but the pack includes lots of very colorful paper choices.

A lot of paper for a great price. Not the highest quality paper but perfect for practicing Origami designs. Arrived promptly.
