3.0 out of 5 stars The un-equal impact of embargo ob the first Arab-Israeli war, February 24, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: The Origin of the Arab-Israeli Arms Race: Arms, Embargo, Military Power and Decision in the 1948 Palestine War (Hardcover)
This book point out that the 1948 Palestine arms embargo, which meant to limit the two warring sides' ability to wage war, indeed hit them both hard. But while the embargo meant to have a similar impact on both sides, it in fact hit harder the Arab armies and relatively strengthened the Israeli army, which, in circumstances described in my book, won the war.
