We purchased these to keep our lab & basset hound out of our flower beds. It's been a month & they haven't gotten in. We also have others that are taller that we've had for about 8 years & they are still strong - only a little weathered, but that is fine.

Purchased these to put in my raised garden beds to keep my two small dogs out of the garden. It has worked spectacularly for that and they look good while doing it. I find the 24 inch to be a nice option between the 18 and 32. the only thing it won't do is keep the cats out, but good luck with that. I ordered two originally and have since ordered another set. I would highly recommend these and they are easy to connect to each other or remove.
