I got these last year from a big box store and loved them. In my rocky soil, I needed something that would hold up and would be sturdy (3 legs make it more stable than the round cages). These worked very well.

I did reinforce where it gets hooked together with some twist ties, as they liked to come unooked. I also added one piece of bamboo stuck in one corner for extra strength. I'm ordering some more of these this year - they could be a bit taller, but I like them WAY better than the round cages. I also like that they fold flat for storage at the end of the season.

I had purchased wire tomato cages from a local hardware store years ago. I purchased these because they were the same height as the others and I thought they would be made similar. These are made from thinner wire and not as sturdy. They have served the purpose to contain the tomato plants, but they have bent under the weight of the plants. I would recommend the manufacture consider using a heavier gauge wire for the next product upgrade.

These trellis' could not hold up under the weight of the tomato plants. Not a good product.

These exact same trellises are for sale at my local garden center for $4.88. What kind of joke is it that the seller lists the suggested retail price of these as $29.99? No one in his right mind would pay $30 for these little bent-wire supports. Even at $12.34 (selling price at time of review) they are over-priced and almost 3 times the price of Lowes or Home Depot.

To grossly over-state the suggested retail price of an item to make even its inflated selling price seem like a good deal is DECEPTIVE.

UPDATE: The inflated "suggested retail price of $29.99" has been removed from this item's description, so the description is no longer deceptive. Now the trellis is merely very expensive for what you get. I use them, I like them fine, but I would just not pay $13-15 for one. I'd pay $13-15 for three.
