It is the year 2000, and the Third World War has come and gone. The vampire, who eventually sought refuge in Transylvania and who has lain dormant for many years, is restless. He hears that Paterson, a tiny town where he'd once fed on human flesh, has somehow managed to rebuild itself after the war. The town is full of beautiful grass and trees. Fresh water flows, and the people there are happy. It will be a good place to begin his next rampage against mankind, a great place in which to rebuild his army of vampires.
