A Little Bit of Consumer Info,
By ValkyrieRavenfeather (La La Land) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Origin (Audio CD)
I should probably warn you not to waste your money buying this online. There have been rumors of a "Russian re-release," but the band has stated that there will be no re-releases. There were only 2500 copies made of Origin, and you can buy them on E-bay for about $200 apiece. Amy Lee--the lead singer--has stated that if you want to listen to the songs from Origin, you should download them online for free. It's not like she's making any money off of the E-bay rip-offs.
The versions on this site are, yes, rip-offs. How can I tell? The original version of Origin had only 11 songs on it. The track listing was as follows: 1. Origin 2. Whisper 3. Imaginary 4. My Immortal 5. Where Will You Go? 6. Fields of Innocence 7. Even In Death 8. Anywhere 9. Lies 10. Away From Me 11. Eternal And yes, my listing is correct, because that is the official track listing that the band gives on websites they associate with. So don't waste your money. Find someone who already has a copy and burn the CD from them, or else go to a site where you can download the songs. Don't pay $30+ for a bootleg copy. For anyone who is interested, this is actually a VERY good CD. I am a huge Evanescence fan, and I was delighted to discover their older CDs and unreleased songs were available through the Internet. You cannot buy these anymore, so if you want them, download them. Amy Lee has said several times that she doesn't mind people downloading her older works.

My Favorite,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Origin (Audio CD)
Awesome CD!
1.ORIGIN ~Great intro. A little creepy but, goes to Whisper perfectly. 2.WHISPER ~Loved it on Fallen, love it on Origin. 3.IMAGINARY ~My favorite version of this song. 4.MY IMMORTAL ~Same as Fallen only without strings. 5.WHERE WILL YOU GO? ~Awesome song. But, I don't like the "Yeah, yeah" in it. David's voice sorta drowns Amy's. 6.FIELD OF INNOCENCE ~Love the Latin Hymn. 7.EVEN IN DEATH ~Yeah! David's not in this song! 8.ANYWHERE ~I really hate this song. It sounds like Amy isn't singing. Only that a** hole David. 9.LIES ~Awesome rock song. 10.AWAY FROM ME ~My favorite song!!!!!! 11.ETERNAL ~Another one of my favorites. Very relaxing 12.LISTEN TO THE RAIN ~Great song. If only Amy sang it. 13.DEMISE ~Love this song. I wish it were at least 2 minutes longer. You get a relaxing, laid back, guitar for only 1 minute and 33 seconds. This is my favorite CD from Evanescence. I wish there were alot more copies so, everybody could enjoy this bands beautiful music.

"Origin"al,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Origin (Audio CD)
Alot of times this type of Origin is refered to as the Russian Re-release version. Do not refer to it that way. It is just a bootleg/fake. Only 2,500 copies of Origin were ever made. The Original tracklisting for Origin is:
0. Anywhere (Only accessed when going back from track 1) 1. Origin (An original copy makes this track and the next track flow together without skipping time) 2. Whisper (O Verona and Juliet's Requiem used before in track 1) (Man vocals by David Hodges) 3. Imaginary (Piano Intro) 4. My Immortal (Same as Fallen except softer in volume) 5. Where Will You Go? 6. Field of Innocence 7. Even in Death 8. Anywhere (at end you can hear David and Amy singing a reprise to track 5) 9. Lies (Man vocals are not by David Hodges) 10. Away From Me (At end it starts into Eternal without skipping) 11. Eternal _____________________ Reference: Demise: Short clip of Eternal Listen to the Rain: Sung by Amy's High School Choir. Written by Amy and arranged by Amy _____________________ Unfinished Songs: 1. Catherine 2. Spanish (Instrumental) _____________________
