I really did't care too much for this product and ended up buying the N Gear chain deflector. The material is softer (plastic) than I though it would be. The tooth fang that blocks the chain is a little too skinny to do a good job I.e. thinner than the chain. But the biggest problem I had was the blocking extension was too short to reach the chain. The fang part needs to be just short of touching the chain for it to do its job but it wouldn't reach and it's not adjustable.
