This review is from: Set of 2, Original FSP Lawn Mower Wheel Kit 193144, Includes 2 Dust Covers # 189403. Has Metal Bushings, Not Plastic.
My mower takes Sears wheels 180658. Sears told me that the 193144 kit would not work. The wheels looked the same from the picture and AMC Parts Store even sent me detailed dimensions, so I way pretty sure these would fit, which they did. They are an exact match to the wheels on my mower. Even the number stampings are the same. From Sears, the wheels would have cost me $63. As far as the gears wearing out, I've had no problems. I only needed to replace the wheels because the rubber tread was worn down bald.

I'd been shopping for the front drive wheels for my Sears lawnmower and was put off by the Sears price. After identifying the part number, I found these replacements were remarkably less, fit perfectly and seem to be more ruggedly constructed. Shipping was prompt and I saved a boatload on the price. I'd by from these folks again!

They fit fine, they have good grip. However, now that I've used them for awhile I wonder if I should have left the old bald wheels on there. You have to remember when you are turning around to lift the wheels off the ground, or disengage the self-propel, otherwise these wheels want to grip and grip and it's wreaking havoc on the transmission. Everytime I hear the gears grinding I just think about how much shorter my mowers life is probably going to be because of these.Aside from that, I didn't feel like going through all of the rig-a-ma-row to get the back half of the dust covers off, so I just left the old ones on there. I couldn't figure it out after a half hour so I decided to skip the dust covers. Other than that, they went on without a hitch.
