This was the best price I found on this charger. I've had my macbook for 3 years and my first charger just broke a month ago and I have to admit I was pretty rough with it. I was hesitant in purchasing this item anywhere but from Apple themselves but so far I've been very pleased with it. Received item quickly and I've had no problems with its operation. The only issue with this item is not from the seller but from Apple. Sadly there is a flaw in these in that the wire does become disconnected over time. I do agree with previous posters though that being fairly careful with the cord and not pulling it out of the socket by the cord, etc will extend its life.

i haven't had any issues with this charger. i've had it about a month now. hopefully the cat won't chew on this one...it's the only reason i had to replace my original. the model # is different, but it doesn't seem to matter. not sure how apple does their numbering but the V, Hz and A are the same so i (hesitatingly) plugged it in...worked like a charm.

Good product, but needs extra cord. It does not come with the white extension that Apple gives away with new computers. Because I was replacing a 3 year old charger, I already had this cord. Try looking for a charger that includes this extra extension.

decided to ignore the bad reviews. Never again will I do that! this charger worked for one night, and then stopped. DO NOT ORDER THIS. PERIOD. it'll be a waste of 30 dollars that you can use to buy one directly from apple that'll actually last. The company that I bought it from were courteous about returning the product and about giving me a refund. Just be weary about buying used/refurbished chargers or any electronic device. It may not work like you need it to.

This product arrived in the mail earlier this week. It has not lasted 7 days and already frequently overheats and fails to full charge my computer. Complete waste of money, it is being returned.

Some reviews here say that this isn't a mac product, but it is in fact! It came very protected and it has mac's signature everywhere!

No bad review to give... it has an amazing design and the magnet feature that prevents your macbook to fall in the floor when you get trapped in the cord is just brilliant!

I had this charger after I broke my charger that came with my Macbook Pro. This one actually lasted me quite awhile, two years to be exact. The only problems I saw was that the charger gets really hot (the little white box) which my original one did not do. I took great care of my charger and just yesterday it randomly shorted out. I am not sure how or why but when I went to plug it in it did not charge my laptop. Originally I was worried it could be a problem with my Macbook, but as soon as I went and bought a new charger from the Mac store I realized that sadly it was my charger. I would recommend if you are looking for a cheap replacement and do not want to spend $79 on the charger at Mac store.

This charger will only charge my computer if it is closed. So once my laptop dies, I cannot use it again until it is fully charged. It is really frustrating when I am trying to work on a project or watch a movie. This charger would be great if only it would work when my laptop is open.

Although my package came much earlier than expected, and worked great for the first week - it quickly fell apart. Where an actual apple charger will come apart and snap back together, this one came apart and will not go back together. And it wasn't taken apart by force, I just unplugged it and the prong part fell off of the block part. It also doesn't come with an extension wall cord at all! Very very very disappointed. Waste of money, should have just spent the extra to buy the actual Apple brand.
