I'm responsible for purchasing supplies for a group home for adults with developmental disabilities. We had persistent odor in one of our bathrooms despite daily scrubbing because staff would 'forget' to throw out used Depends immediately after use. After having tried all the sprays available, and being unable to use many products due to concerns about accidental ingestion, in desperation I tried this product. It works amazingly well. We even use the same jar occasionally in other areas around the house whenever we have 'accidents' and it takes care of even the worst lingering air odors within half an hour. Best of all, it's completely non-toxic which means we can leave it out without fear of ingestion. The one jar I've bought has actually lasted us about a year, but we keep it in a small bathroom which is probably the reason for this long life.

Also, because no one's mentioned it here, the outer label peels off leaving a nice looking neutral print on the jar.

If you're looking for a safe and effective air freshener that you can put out and forget about which won't leave cloying chemical perfume odors, I highly recommend giving this product a try.

I've had two occasions to use this product. Once when a mouse died in the wall in my apartment, and once when I was subleasing a room that had a lingering cigarette smoke odor. Both times the smells were driving me insane. I tried Febreze, baking soda, and other similar gel/paste odor neutralizers, but this is the only thing that made breathing bearable.

The only drawback is that product itself doesn't have a particularly good, fresh smell - it's kind of like the blue stuff in port-a-potties. But you really don't smell it that often, and it isn't too strong. It's just a "trace smell."

This is awesome. Lingering food smells, or any other odors are just gone and without being replaced with another smell. Left in the house to run errands after cooking bacon and eggs and came home to a very fresh smelling house with no food odors! Keep one by the trash can in the pantry and never a problem!

I am not sure about the other odors but this product definitely works for cat litter odors. There is a noticeable difference in the room where we keep the litter box. I have placed one next to the litter. The only problem with the product, you can't find the ingredients on the packaging. So I have no idea what kind of chemicals it contains and if they are harmful or not. Next time I will try to find something else that at least lists the chemicals used to make the product.

I have 3 cats and a dog and have tried numerous items from local stores. Those so called odor remover or neutralizers didn't work. I even put smelly candles and outlets things to try and get rid of the cat box odors and those sucked. I have one cat that has nasty smelling poop because of his food. Imagine an OMG! smell times 10 and that was him. Out of pure desperation I tried this very expensive product. YIPPEE!!! This stuff rocks. My house smells good again and my small bathroom that has the boxes does not smell like cat anything. Take a chance try it. FYI- It is cheaper to buy this stuff direct from their website. It has been going now for 2 weeks. Wonder how long it will be before I need to replace it? If I remember I will post an update in the future.

I bought this to cover bathroom odor and it works fine, just wait about 4 days and it will overcome persistent odors. I was using scented candles, lysol, ozium, and even car air freshener and this takes no maintenance and is effective. Just for the record my odor is a "musty" almost moldy smell in one bathroom.

I googled "how to get fireplace smoke smell out of your home" a few different things came up and when I saw this I clicked on it and read the description. I thought ok this sounds good, although it was sold from a Industrial Company. So I thought what about Amazon? I entered it in the search bar and viola!!!! it was for sale on Amazon, I swear you can buy everything on Amazon. I received this item in about 3 days, great shipping, I opened it up and put in on the fireplace mantle, and the next day I came home from work, Absolutely no smell at all. This stuff really works, I can't tell you how happy I am to have actually purchased something that works as well and it claims it does and minimal effort on my part, simply open it up, set it out, an forget it. The smell of this product is actually nice, very subtle smell like that of say a "ocean" scented candle. The smell does not fill up the house at all but if you smell the jar directly it smells quite pleasant. I plan on buying another on for my car (smoking). Quick delivery, works in 24 hours, and great price v.s. other sites, you won't be sorry.

At work we have a 1 stall ladies room that is shared by 15-20 women and perhaps it was just too much for the Bad Air Sponge. It is a small space but this sponge did not absorb the bad odor. Back to the drawing board.

My elderly dog had been incontinent on the carpet and her urine smell was literally making me gag. Also, her dog bed smelled horrible, no matter how much I washed it. I really thought this product sounded like a gimmick, but I was desperate and bought it. I put it in the room with her dog bed, where all the smell was. After only 30 minutes, I went back in and was shocked! NO smell whatsoever! It worked better than I ever expected! I won't be without it again!
