Great price for a brand name charger
Can't beat the price for a brand name charger. I didn't want to risk getting a generic charger for my Black Berry. I have been using it for awhile and have no complaints. It fits in the outlet well and doesn't pop out while driving like some cheaper plugs.

Only worked a few weeks.
The one I got did not say Verizon on it, therefore i question whether this is of the same quality as what you buy at the store. I didn't really care since it was working at the time. However, the thing stopped working after a while. At first I could slightly adjust the part that plugs into the phone and get a charge, but after a few more weeks it stopped altogether.

If you want to keep the phone right next to where its plugged in then it works fine. If you stretch the cord any, it quickly bends the connectors and soon breaks. I tried to use this charger with a gps dock which means the cord had to stretch up to where the gps was mounted. The charger lasted 2 trips before it snapped. Thanks verizon for this overpriced piece of crap.

This product showed up and looks like the picture except there is NO Verizon logo as shown in the picture. It's entirely possible this is the same product and works exactly as it should, however I have not yet decided if I'm going to risk damaging my Storm by plugging this in. I may be returning the produce due to it not being the same as the picture of the product.If I decide to use this charger, I'll update this review and re-rate it. |
