If you ever wondered how it all started with Bob Wills,all you need to do is get this CD. Take Me Back To Tulsa (Columbia) is another CD that is a fine companion to Stay A Little Longer.

Go back in time in fine fashion and listen to how it all began.

This is a fine one CD collection of a Bob Wills tunes from the Columbia recordings from 1935 to 1945. Its Vol. 2 as there is a fine Vol. 1. There are numerous CD's available to fans of Bob Wills and those of us who love Western Swing cannot buy or have on hand too many of them. You can buy collections of two, four and even 10 CD's of Bob Wills and his Texas Playboys. I generally recommend with Bob Wills that one buy early and often. As to this particular CD it does feature Bob Wills in full force with the noted Playboy musicians such as Joe Holley, Alex Brashear, Millard Kelso, Eldon Shamblin and others. Needless to say there Tommy Duncan on the vocals. What is worth the price of this CD to me, as there is much of this material available elsewhere, is the recordings of "Trouble in Mind" and "New Worried Mind".
