Overall I am very happy with this album. The songs are very similar to the versions on The Eternal Cowboy, but a little bit more rough. Of course raw and short songs are part of what defines traditional punk music. So if you like punk music and have been a fan of Against Me! way back in their early days, I would recommend this album. However, if you prefer polished standard 4 minute radio songs "to get your money's worth" you should probably pass.

This band is amazing both live and on cd. Reading the description you can see that this cd was originally just a trial run, but it just has an awesome raw/personal quality to it that is rarely heard. I've been listening to these songs for years now, and it's nice to hear them differently and how they were originally suppose to be, not that there is much difference that I could tell from these versions and the versions you might have heard already.

There's actually 10 songs on it, cause track 1 and 8 are two different songs.

I also heard that the drummer in AM! has left the band. That is super sad

the cd is so short. 4 of the 8 songs are a minute and a half or less. If you like the band it is worth having, but don't make it the only album of theirs you buy.
