Great replacement part,

This baffle is the replaceable leading edge of Craftsman 48 inch mower decks. After several years of use, my original was worn through. This part protects the actual mower deck from being worn away on the front edge, and also assists with air flow under the deck for better grass cutting efficiency. The part fits perfectly, and was very cheap (under $6 in April 2011). It attaches with four 1/4" x 3/4" carriage bolts and nuts, which are not included. If your baffle is worn out, the bolts will be too, so get some of those at the hardware store for a few cents each. Square holes in the baffle hold the bolts so you can tighten the nuts.This item was shipped fast and the price was unbeatable. |
