Don't waste your money!,
By Holden Caufield (Hartford, CT USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Original Dell AC Adapter / Power Supply Cord for Dell Inspiron 1000 1200 1300 2200 3000 3200 3500 7000 B120 B130 and Latitude 110L 120L (Electronics)
If you're looking for a durable product, this is not it. I purchased this and it broke in two weeks! The plastic sheath over the cord separated on both ends within days, and it wasn't long before the frail copper wires inside snapped. As a grad student, I do put a tremendous strain on my power cord--having to pack and unpack my laptop and power cord several times daily. That being said, my original cord lasted through 3 years of such abuse and still works on and off--I'm using it now as I shop for a back-up. Surely, a new cord should not break within the span of a couple weeks, no matter the use.

This thing gets extremely hot; way hotter than the old dell one I had. You could burn yourself on this. I would recommend going some place else.

Dangerous Product,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)

This is not a Dell adapter. Within 2 weeks of purchase, under normal use, the outer insulation at both ends became brittle and broke. This exposed the copper wires to each other, leading to sparks and smoke. It could have easily started a fire or electrocuted someone. THIS ITEM SHOULD BE RECALLED.
