Albertina Walker delivers and delivers with this CD. It takes me out of myself and away from my problems every time. I find myself no longer thinking, but singing along with her and marveling at the beautiful voice with which God had blessed Ms. Walker. She had (and still maintains through recording) the ability to move you. I was blasting this in my car one day ("Please Be Patient With Me") and when I pulled into a parking space, I took my time gathering my things before I got out of the car. As I went to enter the establishment an older lady outside on a smoke break said, "I was really enjoying that. I didn't want it to end." We laughed and talked about how good old gospel can really take you back.

I must say I have been a fan since the mid 80's. So, I was only familer with Please Be Patient With Me from the 70's.

It was a pleasure to listen to some of her earlier hits and this is Church! This is a must have in any Gospel Collection

, but especially those die-hard fans like me.
